Finnegan Tall Lantern

Originally designed in 1940 for factories, offices, stations and industrial units of the period. Decades later Peter Bowles discovered a mold for an industrial light. While staying true to the original quality and craftsmanship, Bowles updated the lights for a more modern setting. The light provided by the Giant 2 is mostly downward focused with a little up-lighting that occurs naturally. The lamp is UL listed and suitable for commercial spaces. Manufactured in a factory in the UK dedicated to green manufacturing practices.

Discoco Pendant 88

Designed in the 1950’s by Greta M. Grossman, the G-10 Pendant is another of her undiscovered designs. The pendant is characterised by its industrial look with a rough surfaced lampshade and clean lines, but at the same time holds a soft, feminine and elegant silhouette - which to some draw associations to a woman’s hat that adorned the streets in the 50’s. Always with a twist of humour, Grossman’s design encourages for playful and experimental installations in pairs or clusters. However, the pendant looks great as a single feature over a dining table as well. The G-10 lamp was produced, as many of Grossman's other work, in both America and her native Sweden, where this collection draws its features after the Swedish version. The lamp was Greta M. Grossman's 10th product for the Swedish manufacturer Bergboms, therefore the name G-10. Canopy included. The textile cord matches the shade.

Semi is a unique pendant lamp, based on two quarter-circles put together, back-to-back. With its its distinctive arch-shaped, enamelled metal shade, lightness of form and unique, timeless design, the elegant Semi lamp achieved great success in the 1980's and became, at that time, the best-selling Danish design, gaining worldwide recognition and iconic status The Semi lamp was designed in 1968 as a product of the creative partnership between two architecture students, Claus Bonderup and Torsten Thorup. Reacting against the 'cosy era' that was dominating Denmark at the time, Bonderup and Thorup wanted to create a lamp that incorporated sharp, clean lines and a geometric shape. Their design was submitted for a competition at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts School of Architecture and won first prize.
