Viaggio Chandelier

Lamping

When we happened upon a breathtaking avant garde Modernist candelabra, we were determined to resurrect it as a chandelier and sconce with electric lamping. The ensuing process was a labor of love, as we sought to establish balance in a purposefully asymmetrical fixture and create the illusion of continuity. Transforming the piece from a sculptural base for wax-and-flame candles to an electric fixture, we continued our brand tradition of keeping the bobeches and making the candle sleeves the same finish as the rest of the piece.

Huntington Chandelier

The Tribeca series is a mix of lamps, pendants and chandeliers, all inspired by the New York City glamour of the late 1930's. The name Tribeca refers to a very popular part of New York in lower West Manhattan - the Triangle below Canal Street.
The various shapes and designs in the Tribeca series were created in an inspiring creative process where Søren Rose Studio traveled the States, searching for beautiful old lamps and reusable parts. All the parts were separated, rated and arranged, and then assembled again, mix and match style, until these new and much bolder designs emerged. This feature, in combination with the elegant details and the glamorous feel, makes a Tribeca lamp a retro-chic piece of art.
Søren Rose is a talented Danish entrepreneur and designer with a past as a creative director within the web and photography industry. His dream of having his own studio came true in 2008; and today he lives in New York where he operates the highly popular Søren Rose Studio. Hudson Valley Lighting Huntington 6-bulb Chandelier - Aged Old Bronze & White

In this product, the illuminating function has become a pretext for the creation of an object with a markedly bold personality; the celebrated Meltdown lamp by Johan Lindstèn is available in three options: a floor, table and suspended version.
The base of the floor version has either five or eight diffusers, the table lamp has one. For the hanging version there are four different formats (single, a cluster with 4 diffusers, a cluster with 8 diffusers and linear with 3 diffusers).
The diffusers of all of these lamps have a distinctive spherical form made from colored pâte de verre glass that has been mouth-blown into a mold. The palette includes the following shades: amber, tobacco, rose, amethyst, light blue and dove grey: the purchaser can order the spheres in a single color or in a pre-set mix of hues.
The glass used for this lamp is a one-of-a-kind expression of the ancient art of masterful glassmakers; any small air bubbles or variations in the color intensity are due to the artisanal craftsmanship and represent a valuable addition.
