The Mossam Bed by Croft House is handmade locally in Los Angeles, California. The original Croft House bed, the Mossam Bed showcases the very first design theories of the Croft House team. The bed is weighted by a sturdy steel frame, wrapping its way around the entire piece. Reclaimed oak, barn wood, salvaged from architecture through the United States, is then carefully fixed to a substrate and inset into the steel frame. This combination gives the bed a substantial presence, delicately balanced by the open, almost floating feeling the small, recessed legs create. Croft House’s mandate to bring the California lifestyle to life through furniture is acutely represented as the natural materials, in concert with the modern design, create a relaxed statement piece for any bedroom. The Mossam Bed will set a sophisticated precedent for you space, as it did for our line.
Reclaimed wood has a wide range of color and texture due to weathering. The wood is up cycled from various sources so no two pieces are alike. As a result, cracks, nail holes and uneven surface textures are to be expected.
