Sometimes she loans her hat to her friend who needs help because her friend always has her head in the clouds. She also flaunts an exquisite pedicure. Clearly she knows how to live.

Curator's Notes

I like this figurine because it’s miniature. I also like how it's a collectible (pairing nicely with Figurine of Woman with Rain Hat), but not in a tchotchke kind of way since it’s quite elegant in all white. I also love the cloud motif for it’s whimsical meaning and the ability of the cloud to be removed. Although the figurine is small, it makes a statement by drawing you in with all its intricate, playful elements.

This is such a great figurine as are all the characters Yuki Nishio creates. Their playful compositions remind me of the cats in Japanese literature like the books by Haruki Murakami. A small pop of colour on the figure's pants bring so much joy! If you're feeling red pants, this one's your girl!
