Cleaning Powder coated/electroplated metals: To clean powder coated and electroplated lighting, use a soft brush (non abrasive) or cloth, and a mild household detergent solution to remove dust, salt and other deposits. Then use a clean, soft cloth to dry the piece. Never use harsh detergents.
Textile Cords: Avoid contact with liquid and cleaning soap. Use a brush or cloth to remove dirt from the textile cord. Avoid direct sunlight and sharp items. Do not cut the textile cords by yourself, let a licensed electrician perform length adjustments.

It's design exploits the difficult spinning technique developed by the Louis Poulsen craftsmen, the pendant is an example of Louis Poulsen’s world-famous expertise and creates almost impossible shapes out of a simple sheet of metal.
The Doo-Wop design perfectly illustrates how to shape light with the use of materials, colors and form. The inner shade through which the light shines gives out a subtle diffused light, contrasting with the solid outer shade that shapes the light, directs it up and down, while at the same time, spreading a soft diffused light.
The Louis Poulsen Doo Wop pendant comes with 12' of cord and a matte white junction box cover.

To mark Poul Henningsen's 120th birthday on 9 September, Louis Poulsen is launching the new PH 3½-3 pendant. The PH 3½-3 pendant is based on Poul Henningsen's original drawings from the late1920s and early 1930s, featuring his renowned three-shade system. The pendant has metal shades, available in green, yellow, red and white. The fixture housing is silk mat brown and made of copper. All colors are based on Poul Henningsen's color universe. Like the designer, the fixtures are colorful! As an extra feature, all shades have a white painted rolled edge, accentuating the familiar profile of the three-shade fixture and creating beautiful optical symmetry. The shades are pressed at Louis Poulsen's factory in Vejen, by Louis Poulsen's own staff – a craft only very few are trained in. Although the fixture is over 80 years old, it is both modern and classic at the same time, making it ideally suited to a broad range of interior design environments. It is seen as a charming, rustic, functional and unpretentious fixture. The PH 3½-3 pendant is a piece of Danish lighting design history. It provides functional, decorative light, and gives any interior a boost simply by being there, whether lit or unlit. It is beautiful alone, or grouped with other fixtures.

Serge Mouille's insect-like designs from the 1950's were created as a reaction to heavier, clunkier Italian designs of the time. Serge Mouille wanted to create a modern lighting fixture that had delicate lines and a stunning visual presence. The Five-Arm Spider Ceiling Lamp is one of Serge's most versatile lamps. With arms that reach 3 layouts, light can be projected to many different parts of the room. Further, each shade has independent rotation to allow for further flexibility.
True to Serge Mouille's original production philosophy, each piece is made entirely by hand in France using the original forms, molds and techniques created by Mouille nearly 70 years ago. The unique brass joint allows the head to swivel and turn to any position and hold steady. Each piece is stamped and numbered. Only 600 pieces are produced each year at the Mouille factory and distributed around the world.
Arms can be rotated to a variety of positions.

In 1887, England declared an imperial holiday to commemorate Queen Victoria’s 50th year on the throne—her “golden jubilee.” Public celebrations occurred across the empire. Photographs from India show a distinctive array of glass lanterns illuminating the occasion, representing the hybrid of Anglo and Indian design sensibilities. Hampton reproduces these historic, mouth-blown glass lanterns. While the oversized bell jar originally held a reservoir of whale oil, we suspend a candelabra array to provide warm light without the mess.
