The Local lamp has grown out of the mood in simple bars and relaxed restaurants, where pools of light beneath suspended lampshades create atmospheric social spots. With this ambience as his point of departure, designer Jonas Wagell has created an understated and harmonious pendant lamp as a frame for social get-togethers.
Local consists of a suspended spun steel shade with a simple and welcoming silhouette. Spun lampshades traditionally have a metal fold at the edge to reinforce their shape. In Local, this component is highlighted to become the main character of the design. Instead of the traditional fold, the rim at the edge is enlarged and integrated into the turned shape, so that it appears as a fine detail.
The lamp is intended for both domestic and public environments and can be used either on its own or spread over a larger space. Its expression is calm and subtle, so the lamps can be multiplied without dominating the interior. With its friendly design, Local will contribute to creating a cosy and comfortable ambience.

The PH 3½-3 Glass Pendant is one of many advanced projects undertaken by Poul Henningsen in the development of his world-famous three-shade system from 1926. Poul Henningsen devoted most of his life to taming electric light. He based his three-shade design on a logarithmic spiral to make optimum use of the light source. He was constantly doing calculations and tests. The form of the shades was determined by the way they were required to shape and reflect the light, and the lamp was designed to be glare-free. The white opal glass shades soften the overall look of the lamp and illuminate its surroundings with a perfect, harmonious and glare-free light that only the classic three-shade system is capable of emitting. The shades are mouth-blown three-layer opal glass, which is glossy on top and sandblasted matt underneath to provide soft and uniform light distribution.

Serge Mouille's sophisticated designs from the 1950's were created as a reaction to heavier, clunkier Italian designs of the time. Serge Mouille wanted to create modern lighting fixtures that had delicate lines and a stunning visual presence.
True to Serge Mouille's original production philosophy, each piece is made entirely by hand in France using the original forms, molds and techniques created by Mouille nearly 70 years ago. The unique brass joint allows the head of the Saturnas Wall Sconce to swivel and turn to any position and hold steady. Each piece is stamped and numbered. Only 600 pieces are produced each year at the Mouille factory and distributed around the world.
