About the Designer Huma Blanco was born of an appreciation for the simple luxury of Peruvian hides and textiles, along with a goal to sustain long-term jobs for shoemakers in Adriana’s home country. The raw beauty of these Peruvian materials - such as suede, alpaca and ponyhair - inspires Adriana. The designer works with them using natural dyes, or leaving them in their pure form. The line fuses classic footwear with interesting construction and unexpected textures.

A percentage of sales go to a non-profit organization called Ninos del Arco Iris that helps families in need in the Sacred Valley (River Urubamba) in Cusco. The main goal of this organization is to generate human development in the community, giving them the chance of having an honorable life by their own means. The biggest effort of this organization is educating the kids and young adults, as well as giving them basic health services.
