Sherpa fleece has been a staple style for outerwear brands for decades. We will never forget the first time we saw one when we were young—immediate game-changer. When we set out to reimagine this classic style at AETHER, we were determined to raise the bar. It all starts with a luxe Italian sherpa fleece. While similar styles are usually constructed from 100% polyester, we decided to toss tradition out the window and found a wool-poly blend that is superior in warmth and comfort. Adding wool to the poly ups the technicality while increasing the thermal capabilities. While wear-testing the Narrows Jacket, we discovered how truly warm this style was under a shell on the hill and how well it functioned as a stand-alone coat. And by combining natural wool with the superior fit and function AETHER is known for, we’ve delivered a better version of a style we’ve loved since our youth. With an Italian woven contrast fabric at the exterior collar, shoulder yoke, pocket welts, center-front panel, body hem, and sleeve forearm panels, the Narrows Jacket is packed with intentional and thoughtful design details. And while this is a super warm style due to its natural-fabric construction, there are mesh grommets at the underarm for added breathability if you decide to use it as a layer. There is an AETHER-logo zipper at the center front, as well as at the hand pockets to keep your stuff safe. The Narrows Jacket makes a perfect companion for whatever cold-weather adventures you have on the horizon.
