A staple of our spring/summer line each season is always a men’s cotton jacket. This season, the Rapids is that classic, wear-anywhere, refined-casual piece you have come to expect from AETHER. Made from a woven ripstop-like cotton that is garment dyed, the Rapids easily goes from outside to inside, making it super versatile and the ideal travel companion. There are snaps at the center front and the sleeve cuffs, and a patch chest pocket with a snap closure on the wearer’s left side. As always with AETHER, there are plenty of pockets: There are discrete in-seam hand pockets and an interior left patch pocket. Also on the interior, a zippered pocket at the right chest allows for a place to stash cash or a card, while the shadow-stitch detail comes through on the exterior. Additional design elements include a double vent at the back hem with a hidden-snap closure and trapunto stitching at the collar.
