The Traction Insulated Shirt is a piece that’s long overdue in our line. It’s reversible, technical, insulated, and also sharp enough to ensure you look good—no, great—at dinner with friends. One side of the Traction is made from a water-resistant woven shell insulated with 60 gram Primaloft® Eco insulation (made with 80% recycled fibers), and the other is 100% merino wool that is sourced in NewZealand and woven by one of our favorite Italian mills. So, yes, it’s an insulated shirt, but it’s much more than that. It’s a great alternative to a sweater; it’s the perfect layer for a day on the hill; and it’s sophisticated enough for whatever happens after the lifts close, too. Reversible matte-black snaps provide closure at the center-front placket and the sleeve cuffs. The exterior, quilted side features a custom AETHER pattern on the main body and sleeves. There are also concealed-entry hand pockets on the exterior. The interior, wool side has a shadow-stitch detail at the hand pockets, adding to the refined aesthetic . The only problem is that the Traction is so versatile, you might want to wear too much. We think that’s a great problem to have.
