There's another benefit, instead of inventory sitting on the shelf we are able to put those resources into sourcing extraordinary yarn. Our polo is knit in New York City from 100% Mako Egyptian Cotton from Filmar of Italy, one the finest cotton spinners in the world. Mako Egyptian Cotton is extra-long staple cotton from a very specific micro-region of Egypt, where they have been cultivating cotton for thousands of years (this not hyperbole, literally 5000+ years). Mako is the best of the best and you can feel it. It is extraordinary soft but also durable and has great structure. 
The polo features a collar with an open placket and single ribbed cuffs and hem. The construction of the polo adds to this smart impression: it looks more like fine knitwear than something associated with sport. But still, the polo has a casual appearance due to soft knit material and lack of stiffness. And, of course, because it's short-sleeved.
