Introduced at the 2012 Milan Furniture Fair, the Coupe Series is an exciting chair range from the young designer, Stefano Sandona. The Softline 1979Coupe Series was awarded the Good Design Award in 2011 by the Chicago Antheneum Museum of Architecture and Design and the European Center for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
In the Softline 1979 Coupe Series, Sandona uses a very wide range of bases to accent the plastic seat.  The seat shell itself is quite unique with a pattern of bent lines running through the scratch-resistant plastic material.  The Coupe's translucent seat material makes it a great dining or pull-up chair for any environment.
