The SB 06 Stool was designed in 1960 by Martin Visser. The pure material, the clear construction, and minimalist design language are typical of Visser's work. The chair has a slender steel tubular frame, chrome-plated matt brushed or black epoxy coated, and a leather cover. The SE dining room chair is also available in an upholstered version, the SB 07, and a variant with a woven cane seat, the SB 05 chair. The strong saddle leather requires craftsmanship in processing and has the natural property to stretch through use. That is why the cover on the underside of the seat is provided with a leather lace with which the seat can be tensioned again. A beautiful functional detail that makes this timeless dining room chair so special!
The SB 06 is available in three colors of leather: natural, dark brown and black. Saddle leather is a natural product and discolors through use and under the influence of light. The latter is especially applicable to natural saddle leather and provides a characteristic and lively image.
