The Miss Lacy Chair by Driade was inspired by the combination of the lost wax casting technique and baroque lace.  Characterized by the expertly pierced shiny mirrored stainless steel, Miss Lacy is unique as it compares more to a jewel than to a functional object.   Miss Lacy's legs are tapered then welded to the shell.   Once polished, the final result is a perfect monoblock.  Miss Lacy is one of the products with the highest level of craftsmanship in the entire Driade collection.
The Miss Lacy Chair was designed by Philippe Starck and was launched in 2018.  Recognized as one of the world's most influential designers, this highly prolific French designer has over 10,000 designs to his name.  From chairs to buildings, and motorcycles to clothing, Starck continues to be one of the world's most creative minds.
