This Pierre Chareau Table was exhibited for the first time at the Salon U.A.M. (Union des Artistes Moderne). It was intended for use as a conversation piece in either a drawing room or perhaps a small winter garden. Chareau's tiered table was also used in the Maison de Verre, the glass house and office of Dr. and Mme. Dalsace.
