Description
The Trip Chair was designed by the Italian architect Marcello Ziliani in 2009. In this design, Ziliani uses a mix of steel wire for the base, and firm, but flexible polyurethane for the seat. The flared wings on the back are reminiscent of Arne Jacobsen's Series 7 Chair. The supportive steel wire base is sculptural and strong enough to work in residential or contract settings.
