The WOODPECKER clog is handmade at a small family-run atelier in Mexico City, Mexico. The Vachetta leather upper is vegetable-tanned, the most sustainable method available, from tanneries gold-certified by the LWG (Leather Working Group). The wooden sole is carved from Chilean pine and has a leather-covered memory foam insole. Our footwear is meant to be in your closet for a lifetime. Wear them forever, they only get better.

As is the case with all nice leather, we recommend wiping clean with a damp cloth and conditioning the product 2-3 times a year (we sell conditioner now on our site!) These clogs are made to last - so treat them with love!
