*The white filter paper used for the Half Moon filters goes through an oxidizing cleansing bath and then a series of hot water baths. This is a bleach-free process, ensuring no chemical residue or taste is imparted to the filter. The brown paper is the same material, however it only goes through the hot water baths, thus retaining its natural color.
