Our aprons are inspired by our years in the kitchen next to our mother. Each one is meticulously handmade using durable 100% pre-shrunk cotton ticking fabric. Our blue and white ticking is woven, not printed. All of our aprons include a long waist tie for a flexible fit and tying that perfect bow, and includes gathered pleats and 2 large pockets.

About Millstream Home Millstream Home was created as an ode to our Amish heritage. My husband Jake was raised in an Amish home until he was 16 years old and I was raised in a large family stitched with rich Amish heritage. in 2016 we began tracking down the most talented and timeless local makers still using historic production methods. Our Amish basket weavers, quilters, toymakers, our seamstress and potters, blacksmiths and leather makers, candlemakers and broom weavers. Each piece is made in someone’s shop or shed, or garage turned craft room. And we wouldn’t have it any other way. No elaborate factories here, just a hard days work and a life spent doing what we love.
