The Comme des Garçons label was started in Tokyo by Rei Kawakubo in 1969. Since the beginning, CDG has been recognized for its playfully avant-garde approach to fashion. The fragrant impressions of wet moss and trees, blended with the sharper notes of the hinoki cedarwood tub and the distant smoke of temple incense.
