Artist Edward View describes these paintings as "an abstract representation of an enormous government building in Sejong, South Korea ... The building bends and turns in one continuous band of offices and administrative centers covered in gardens. I was inspired to reimagine the organic/graphic shape in other interesting ways." Each piece began as a master sketch, later recreated in ink and gold leaf.
