Candle Co. is a Los Angeles-based fragrance company owned and operated by wife-and-husband team Kristen Pumphrey and Thomas Neuberger, who keep their ingredients simple: charcoal-based incense dipped in fine fragrance oils and packaged in kraft sleeves. Notes of night blooming jasmine, sea salt, coastal sage and yarrow meet an earthy base of redwood and beachwood to lift up and transform the room through smoke—a scent that will linger long after extinguishing. The Los Angeles Incense was created in collaboration with the Mayor's Fund of Los Angeles for LA Original. Twenty percent of proceeds benefit the Downtown Women's Center, dedicated to helping women transition out of homelessness.
