Maison Louis Marie's Kandilli is named after a small village set in the Asian bank of the Bosphorus in Istanbul, where Marie's mother, Twinkie, experienced her first scent of a Tuberose flower at the age of sixteen. This scent is a tropical tuberose accorded with a white lily background and sits on a warm amber sandalwood base.
Please note: No. 05 has a distinct yellow hue to the wax, unlike other scents from Maison Louis Marie.
Emily says:"This smells like pure summer nights. When this candle is burning, I envision walking through a garden with a glass of wine on a warm day in the Napa Valley, returning to a home with a terrace wrapped in floral vines. It’s reminiscent of the scent of long days sitting outside, bathing in sunshine.
