This pan does all the same tricks at your grandma's cast iron, but its matte black enamel coating makes it easier to clean and care for—making it pretty much indestructible. Universal lid fits with all other Crane cast iron wares, too. It will gradually “burn in” as it's used and take on a brownish patina.
