Designed in 1956 by Danish industrial designer Jen Quistgaard, who in his decades as Dansk’s principal creative force brought well-made and visually appealing Danish Modern cookware and tableware to homes everywhere. Quistgaard’s work is part of the permanent collection in New York’s Museum of Modern Art and The Metropolitan Museum of Art and in Paris, at The Louvre, and there are many collectors of his classic pieces.
