Felt+Fat was started in 2014, as a small studio focused on creating custom tableware for Philadelphia chefs. Five years later, their wares are in over 140 restaurants in five different countries, as well as thousands of homes.
During that time they've grown from a studio into a manufacturer, while maintaining their focus on the relationships that people have with their products. Their tableware is designed to act as a minimalist backdrop, so that their customer’s culinary creativity and experimentation is the focus.

Each and every one of their wares are handmade to order by our production technicians in their Philadelphia studio. All of their wares are created from their proprietary porcelain clay, mixed in house, cast in molds and finished with their custom line of glazes. Their process and finishing allows for slight variations in each piece, while retaining negligible differences in size, resulting in tableware that is both unique and consistent.
