The Bailey duffle was imagined after discussions of a need to design the ultimate transeasonal coat.
Finishing just below the hip, the outer of the Bailey duffle coat is made from a dry wax cotton from Scottish weavers Halley Stevensons.
Renowned worldwide for innovation, the mill developed a special finish combining super dry wax with aero technology to create natural cotton which remains functional without any wax transfer. This ensures the coat is water repellent whilst remaining lightweight.
Inside, there is a fully detachable wool shearling vest. This versatile feature can be buttoned in for extra warmth during the colder weather and removed on milder days to reveal the fully bound seams and herringbone tape finishing.
