The year was 1981, and Cincinnati was having a hallmark season on the gridiron. With a new powerhouse rookie, a new helmet design and an eventual decisive win in the infamous Freezer Bowl, there was no better time for local brewer Hudepohl to create a new beer can design to celebrate Queen City’s success on the field.
