The masks are designed and crafted the Kaarem way, with keen attention to construction, sustainability (remnant fabric is used) and handcrafted quality. Here are some key features: - For the silk face masks, we cut by hand and carefully hand-basted a 3rd layer of organic cotton in between the outer and lining layers. - The pattern has a small dart on both sides of the nose for a closer fit to the face. It is designed to fit high on the nose, and to fit underneath the chin. - We made our own ear loops out of 4-way stretch jersey that was sewn inside out so that the softer fabric touches the skin. These are non-medical, reusable masks. It is NOT meant to be a substitute for medical-grade equipment or FDA approved.
