Tawashi scrub brushes are ubiquitous in Japan. While they’re often used for household cleaning, this brush was specifically created for the body (but we won’t tell if it becomes multi-functional). Made in Tokyo from natural fibers, it quickly invigorates and revives the skin. This special brush must pass a 20-point inspection to be granted the renowned Kamenoko Tawashi stamp of approval. Its unique zebra pattern is created from raw palm fibers.
Use wet in the bath or shower (add soap for a good lather) or as an exfoliating dry brush. Meant to be stiff, the natural bristles will soften with warm water and will continue to do so with use over time.
