In designing the Tronco Chair for Mattiazzi, Sam Hecht and Kim Colin embraced the challenge of creating a stackable solid wood chair. Then they went a step further, considering the chair itself as part of a system. Not only does Tronco stack up to 5-high, but its strong presence translates well even in spaces where large number of chairs are joined together in rows.
