Wegner's CH26 dining chair was designed in 1950 but has never been in production before. The CH26 chair has finally been brought to life in line with Wegner's original sketch. Its curved organic shapes and exceptional craftsmanship make it a true Wegner classic. The CH26 is closely related to the CH22 lounge chair; both have good ergonomics, a sturdy construction and characteristic curved armrest supports.

The CH26 serves as both a dining chair and desk chair, and Wegner has taken the table height and chair usage carefully into account in its proportions and construction. The chair is crafted in solid oak and walnut in a variety of finishes.

Online ordering includes frame and back in Oak Soap, Oak White Oil, Oak Painted Black, Walnut Oil and a mixed Oak/Walnut Oil* combination with choice of natural or black paper cord. Standard ordering includes the backrest cover cap in the same wood as selected frame, however if you would like to specific a contrasting wood please details whether you would like oak or walnut in the Notes section during checkout. The Oak/Walnut Oil combination has a contrasting cover cap by default. Additional oak and walnut finishes are available as well as a corresponding leather cushion; please contact us directly for details.

*Oak/Walnut Oil is a mix version combining a frame in oiled oak and armrest/backrest in oiled walnut.
