The Embrace Chair is part of the Embrace Collection by Austrian design trio, EOOS. Visually light in its expression, the chair demonstrates the unity between the comfort and craftsmanship of Carl Hansen & Søn and the unique design approach of EOOS. Given it has no armrests, the chair takes up less space than its arm chair counterpart, allowing it to fit with any dining table or desk. The design makes way for great freedom of movement, along with free communication and interaction. The upholstery of the Embrace Chair is folded in two dimensions and the relaxed nature of the upholstery contrasts the perfectly shaped wooden frame.

Established in Vienna in 1995 by Martin Bergmann, Gernot Bohmann, and Harald Gründl, Austrian design collaborative, EOOS draws inspiration for their works from a unique process called Poetical Analysis. Their method focuses on myths, rituals and intuitive expressions, to make connections that extend beyond initial perceptions. EOOS view design as a poetic discipline, and believe that end results should be able to take on changing needs and desires.
