Turkish towels (or peshtemals) have been used for centuries in hammams, the traditional Turkish baths, where bathing is a slow, relaxing ritual rather than a quick, daily need. The art of hand-weaving Turkish towels has evolved over the years to make the perfect hammam companion.
Care: Turkish cotton will get softer and more absorbent the more you use and wash them. We recommend gentle machine washing in warm or cold water with similar colors. Do not use fabric softener or bleach. Avoid washing with zippers and hooks to avoid tangling the tassels.
