The leather tote bags are the perfect everyday bag, measuring 11" x 12.5" x 6.75" and handcrafted with gorgeous black cow leather from Palestine. Each bag is hand-embroidered by refugee and low-income women artisans with a traditional Palestinian tatreez design, the "Road of Egypt" motif, and crafted with locally sourced leather in Al Khalil (Hebron). Lined with cotton and designed with an interior pocket, zipper closure and magnet snap.

Darzah is a non-profit, ethical fashion brand specializing in Palestinian "tatreez" embroidery, a centuries-old art form, traditionally passed down from mother to daughter. Each piece is fair trade certified, hand-embroidered and handcrafted in Palestine’s West Bank. Darzah’s mission is to create economic opportunities for refugee and low-income women artisans and to celebrate tatreez embroidery and Palestinian cultural heritage. The word “darzah” means "stitch" in Arabic.
Darzah is a women-run 501(c)3 non-profit social enterprise based in Dallas, Texas and the West Bank.
