Sustainable and earth friendly, Ruby is not a surface stain, the color is the result of an innovative process using heat, steam and pressure to entirely transform the solid bamboo material into Ruby’s deep red color.

The bamboo is interwoven, soaked and then pressed into a mold using a hydraulic press that heats and compresses the bamboo and transforms its color into a beautiful honey-toned caramel. Greenington pays fair wages to all their artisans and employees in China.
