The vegetable-tanned leather comes from the Wickett-Craig tannery. This beautiful, heirloom-quality leather comes from North American cattle (a byproduct of the meat industry) and is tanned with only organic and biodegradable materials. Son of a Sailor is a women-owned company and pays fair wages to all their team members.
