Finn Juhl was one of the leading figures in the Danish Design movement. He approached his work in the manner of a sculptor, seeking the beauty of the volume and shape, life and expressiveness; it was clear that to him, furniture could not be limited to function, but should also express an artistic sensibility.
In 2001, House of Finn Juhl was trusted with the exclusive rights to manufacture and relaunch Finn Juhl’s sculptural and iconic furniture by Hanne Wilhelm Hansen, Finn Juhl’s widow. Today the unique Finn Juhl collection consists of 40 classic masterpieces.
