Curator's Notes

The name of this piece is Kyusu, which traditionally means teapot, and often the word refers to one with a side handle. This one's a bit confusing because it has a handle on top (still technically a kyusu) and it has a contemporary shape that makes it look like a kettle. Semantics aside, we love it! You can use it to brew loose leaf tea as it cleverly includes a stainless steel strainer.
