Curator's Notes

The ‘Not Lunch Box’ is a play on Chinese take-out boxes. With the same closing method of interlocking tabs, the case looks just like a contemporary lunch box except it can be used to store accessories like gloves, instead of your good ol’ American Chinese cuisine.

The form is held together with heavy duty waxed thread hand-stitched on all four corners
Interior bottom debossed with the Hender Scheme logo
Small scratches and imperfections can be expected from the raw cow hide
The leather will naturally develop a patina over time and showcase unique traces of everyday use
