The name of this mouth-blown sake pitcher comes from its ridged sides, a nod to the "shinogi", or ridge, of the traditional Japanese sword. Facet by facet was hand-cut with a diamond rotary blade for a lively texture that varies across the glass surface, growing finer as it approaches the spout....
