Curator's Notes

I have an affinity for all things miniature and have always loved small pitchers for this reason. I just didn't understand how to use them until traveling to Japan where every iced coffee is served with the tiniest pitcher of simple syrup or cream. Pouring a few drops of milk from a huge jug... just not the same!

The blackish patina is harmless and is a sulfide film that occurs when silver combines with hydrogen sulfide in the air
The tray can be polished to remove the patina with toothpaste or baking soda and a damp cloth
Can be used with hot or cold liquids
