Placewares is happy to bring this stool stateside. We tried buying one of these stools several times in Japan; however, much to our disappointment, there was never one available to buy. We just couldn't get this piece out of our minds.
Lady Luck finally shared her good fortune with us, and we were able to bring one home on our last Japan visit. It now takes a place of honor fireside in our living room.
We are happy to be the only U.S. retailer providing these handmade, extremely high quality rattan stools to you. They are equally as gorgeous as a standalone object, in a seating group around a low table, or as a handy ottoman (We keep ours next to a Wassily Chair for easy propping).
