The Kate shell is insulated with 3MThinsulate padding to ensure warmth without adding any bulk, and it features a detachable shearling collar, a roll-out hood that zips out from the jacket collar, 4 cargo pockets,  center front zip and snap placket closure, a hidden adjustable drawstring waist, and adjustable drawstring hem.
