The Heavy Light Collection takes an everyday, common material – concrete – and used it in an unconventional manner. Each shade is constructed of thin walled slip cast concrete that is left inverted in the molds for days. This creates random holes and veins in the concrete which produces a unique marbling contrast to the shade’s smooth exterior.
