In 1993, Droog founders Renny Ramakers and Gijs Bakker sought out the unusual, determined to create an experience through design innovations. Reimagining the unassuming and reusable, Ramakers and Bakker’s community of Dutch designers helped build what is now a full design experience in the heart of Amsterdam. Designer Tejo Remy creates with the belief that anything is a material that can be incorporated into his pieces. The Milk Bottle Lamp features twelve milk bottles - which hang just above the floor - arranged in rows intended to emulate the Dutch milk crates of past decades.
