Meredith Metcalf is a fourth generation Southern Californian and daughter of a wood finisher and interior designer. She has been making primarily wheel thrown stoneware since the age of 16. She throws stark simple forms that highlight her signature surface motifs. She works out of her studio in Highland Park, Los Angeles. Meredith is also a founding member of two rock bands and a mother of two boys.
