Concrete Mason Jar perfect for home decor or can be used as a vase. The iconic Mason Jar has been used for canning since it's introduction in 1858. Canning is no longer as common, or necessary, as it once was, but the Mason Jar continues to live on. This concrete interpretation of the popular jar is cast using a rubber mold that picks up every detail of the original glass jar. The rubber plug that creates the interior of the jar needs to be drafted slightly, resulting in a wall thickness of roughly 3/4''. The fiber reinforced Mason Jar weighs in at approximately 4 lbs, color can range from dark gray - white. Surface finish can contain small "air bubbles" resulting from the casting process, giving the character and distinct texture that only concrete can provide.
