What is carbon offsetting?
To carbon offset means to support an action or activity (reforestation, sequestration, renewable energy) that reduces human-caused carbon dioxide emissions released into the atmosphere‚ a primary cause for global warming.
Why should do I do it?
Buying carbon offsets allows you to be accountable for those carbon emissions you produce‚ an inevitability in our daily lives. For us, it is not realistic to just stop traveling, so instead, we are looking for ways to create more balance and mindfulness around the impact we have on the world.

WHERE YOUR MONEY GOES

By purchasing a carbon offset, you are giving us permission to invest in Alto Mayo Protected Forest Project, which supports emissions reduction by way of reforestation in Peru.
We‚ have partnered with the COOL EFFECT to make sure this is all done legally and effectively. All projects are vetted to meet high industry standards and certifications. You'll even receive a fancy certificate. Major congrats.
You‚ are probably wondering if we take a fee. Nope! CE receives 100% percent of the money for its projects, and a little over 90% of every dollar will go directly to the project with the rest going to cover credit card charges, research, and any applicable registration fees.
