Our creative director Jim Moore reminded Todd of the timeless appeal of the boatneck, and this new style for us is the result. Taking as its inspiration the classic French mariner’s shirt, Todd has given it a refresh in the blue-green pattern. The cut is boxy with traditional side vents. The fabric is solid yet soft 100% cotton that is imported from Japan. Fun Fact: the stripes on this shirt owe their origin to a shirt worn by the French Navy featuring 21 stripes, one for each of Napoleon Bonaparte's victories. They also helped spot wayward sailors who had fallen overboard.
